Joseph R. Hahn Jr., 77, of Middletown, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Carolyn's House Hospice Residence in Harrisburg, PA after a long battle with glioblastoma cancer.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Kitty. Joe is also survived by his sister, Patricia Welsh, his son Joseph Bower and his wife Mary, daughter Julie Shearer and her husband Jeff, nephew Fred Welsh,
niece Melissa Ridilla, her husband Robert and son Mason. Joe cared deeply for his seven grandchildren, Jeremiah Bower and his wife Riley, Jonah Bower, Spencer Fawbush, Jonathan Bower, Laurel Blymire, Hunter Shearer, and Cassie Blymire. Joe also leaves
behind many other aunts, uncles, and cousins from his parents' large families. Joe graduated from Middletown Senior High School in 1965 where he played basketball, baseball, and football.

Joe was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. He and Kitty enjoyed traveling, sports, and visiting their many friends at home and around the country. Joe liked to work hard and play hard in all he did. He had
