Joseph Harrison Obituary
He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to Elmer J. and Mary Harrison.
Joe will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Sara Elizabeth Harrison and her partner Brian Birrell. His nieces, Nancy Forristall, Susan O'Leary & Sarah Drepanos and his great niece and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, James and George Harrison and his sweet caring sister, Mary "Lee" O'Leary.
Joe moved to Cape Cod in 1969 and started his business, Joe Harrison Building & Design. He designed and built many beautiful homes in and around the Brewster area. Joe was often referred to as a meticulous craftsman.
He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors and was always up for a long walk, run or some yoga. He loved good food, his favorites being seafood and Italian food. Joe most of all loved dogs of all sizes. His two black labs, Buck and Shannie were his greatest companions.
Joe's daughter, Sara, would like to especially thank New England Hospice and the nursing staff at East Longmeadow Skilled Nursing Center for their loving and compassionate care.
The family is planning a graveside service at St. John's Cemetery in Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Rescue League – Brewster Shelter, 3981 Main St. Brewster, Ma 02631.
