Joseph T. Harrold Sr.

Harrold Joseph T., Sr. A respected member of the community and devoted owner and operator of E.J. Harrold, Inc. passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 69. Born in Darby, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Marie (née Sturgis) Harrold. Joseph made a significant impact on many lives through his dedication to providing heating oil to customers in the Delaware and Chester County areas. His work ethic and commitment to quality service earned him the trust and admiration of those he served as well as fostering strong relationships with his customers, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joseph was the beloved husband of the late Iris (née McCarroll) Harrold; the loving father of Joseph Harrold, Jr. and Timothy Harrold (Jessica). He was the supportive and dedicated grandfather of Magnolia and Gabrielle, and the caring brother of Edward Harrold, Jim Harrold (Linda), and Virginia Jarden. He was also the dear companion of Ruth Alexander. Joseph was predeceased by his sister, Marie Sutter.
