Rev. Joe Hicks graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1951. He was a very
nice, quiet man with many friends. I had talked with him some time ago
because we are trying to keep our classmates informed when others pass.
We had three members of our class leave in December 2024. Our sympathy goes out to his family and friends. He was interested in his classmates and wanted to keep in touch especially with some close friends.

Words are inefficient to describe this "GREAT" man. His life was a testament of a "TRUE CHRISTIAN" to the entire world, a man who chartered paths for others to follow. He was a man of honor and integrity to all who knew him. Truly we have lost the earthly presence of this wonderful man and physical death is a loneliness that never ceases, but we will always have the treasure chest of memories he left for us.
Sis Hicks and family our prayers, thoughts and love are with you.
