Joseph Hubbard, Sr. Obituary
Joseph Lamont Hubbard, Sr., cherished father, devoted son, and passionate artist, passed away peacefully, leaving a legacy of love and music. Born to Benjamin Hubbard and the late Liz Darlene Hubbard, Joseph's life was a testament to resilience, creativity, and family devotion.
From a young age, Joseph developed a deep love for baseball and football, which filled his childhood with joy and camaraderie. As he grew older, he transformed his life's experiences into music, creating songs that beautifully narrated his journey and his profound love for his family.
Joseph is survived by his two beloved children, Joseph Hubbard, Jr. and Janie Hubbard; father, Benjamin Hubbard; brothers, Derek Hubbard (Mercedes), Cedric Hubbard, and Terrence Hubbard (Nekeshia); sisters, Regina Miller and Taffie Norton (Rudy); and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends who will carry forward his memory and spirit.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Liz Darlene Hubbard; maternal grandmother, Annie Ruth Miller-Walker; paternal grandparents, Ben Hubbard and Jannie Maude Hubbard; uncle, Michael Miller; and cousin, Annie R. Miller whose love and influence remained a guiding force in his life.
Joseph's musical talent and his ability to turn personal pain into touching melodies made him a unique and treasured individual. His songs will continue to inspire and comfort those who knew him, serving as a lasting tribute to his life's story and the love he had for his family.
He will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through his music and the cherished memories held by his family and friends.
