Joseph P Imperillo

Joseph Imperillo, a devoted father, grandfather, and veteran, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Ellenville, NY, on January 24, 2026.

Born in Bronx, NY, Joseph was the son of the late Paul Imperillo and Carmela Tamberino. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. After his service, he settled in Ellenville, where he built a long-standing career at VAW Aluminum, working dedicatedly until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of the Elks, the American Legion and a Lifetime Member of the Ellenville Fire District.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara Werling, and his son, Michael Imperillo. His legacy lives on through his family. He is survived by his son, Edward Imperillo, and his wife, Kristin; and his daughter, Toni Storey, and her husband, Wayne. Grampy Joe will be deeply missed by his grandchildren: Nicholas Imperillo and his wife Jennifer, Katie Imperillo, Alex Imperillo, Steven Imperillo, and Sydney Franza.

Visitation will be held Saturday February 7th from 10:00am-1:00pm at Loucks Funeral Home 79 N. Main St. Ellenville followed by interment at Pine Bush Cemetery, Kerhonkson. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to local veterans' organizations in his honor.
