Joseph Salvatore Jerminario
March 18, 1963 - November 4, 2025
BLOSSVALE, NY - Joseph Salvatore Jerminario passed away on November 4, 2025 in Oneida, NY. He was 62 years old, the son of Benjamin and Mary (Trapani) Jerminario. He grew up in Milton, NY until he married in 1987 and moved to Orange Co. and then to Blossvale, NY, three years ago.
His career was as a Secure Hospital Treatment Asst. with Mid Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in New Hampton, NY for 22 years. His patients gravitated towards him for a good talk. Previously worked at Harlem Valley Psychiatric Center in Wingdale, NY for 3 years. Retired in 2012 after 25 years of service for NYS.
Joe was an avid NY Mets fan, Buccaneer fan and Nascar fan of Larson #5. Joe deeply enjoyed his 4 dogs and who always offered loving support for him. He was a wonderful father and good hearted person. He loved to help those in need.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Virginia "Ginny" (Borelli) and his beautiful daughter Kaitlyn Louise, his sister Helen Polizzi and nieces Monica and Nicole.
He is predeceased by his father Benjamin, mother Mary and older brother Benjamin.
Joseph will be laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery, Camden, NY. Arrangements are in care of LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, Camden, NY.
