Joseph Langevin Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Schipper Funeral Home Ltd on Dec. 5, 2025.
Joseph K. Langevin, age 67, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born on August 5, 1958, in Marquette, Michigan, Joseph was the son of Charles and Annette (Labine) Langevin. He graduated from Kearsley High School in Flint, Michigan, with the Class of 1976.

Joseph proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marines until his honorable discharge. On November 27, 1976, he married Linda M. Bisaha at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Flint, and they celebrated 49 years of marriage together.

Joseph worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic and later as a Maintenance Manager for Prairie Farms until his retirement. In retirement, he dedicated countless hours to serving veterans and his community. He was a member and Chaplain of the Colon American Legion, a core volunteer for MI Bikers Helping Veterans, a volunteer with Talons Out Honor Flight and the National Honor Flight Network, and a proud Patriot Guard Rider.

When he wasn't volunteering, Joseph enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking trips with fellow riders. He was also a budding woodworker and was especially proud to be building a basement bar from the oak tree he had grown at home. In keeping with his lifelong spirit of giving, Joseph was able to give one final gift as a donor with Gift of Life Michigan.

Joseph is survived by his mother, Annette Langevin; his wife, Linda M. Langevin of Fulton; his children, Marlana (Nathan) Huston of Coopersville, Joe (Cathleen) Langevin of Kalamazoo, and Jerry (Brandi) Langevin of Kalamazoo; and his grandchildren: Karissa Huston, Brenden Huston, Alexander Winchester, Ethan Winchester, Rocco Langevin, Ana Winchester, and twins Izabella and Gabriella Langevin. He is also survived by his siblings, Cathy Teed, Charles Langevin, and Tracy Arnold, as well as several aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Charles Langevin, and his uncle, Martin "Junior" Labine. In accordance with Joseph's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.

Yesterday

I am saddened to hear of Joe´s passing and send my condolences to Linda and the family. I have many memories of our time working together at
B&B Trucking. As fate would have it, we lost connection other than remaining "friends" on facebook after having moved on and I always enjoyed Joe´s posts on that platform.
There have been times I thought about contacting Joe to meet for coffee and "catch up" but for one reason or another, never got around to it.
I hope this to be a lesson to anyone who may read this .... If you have someone in your past you´ve been meaning to contact, don´t put it off, DO IT, before it´s too late.
