Mr. Joseph "Wayne" Lee, known affectionately as Wayne to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in Canton, Georgia, surrounded by the love of his family. Born on May 25, 1947, in Cullman, Alabama, Wayne was a man whose life was characterized by his loving nature, friendly demeanor, and unwavering devotion to his family.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of many years, Clara Lee (Wahn), who was his partner in life and love. Together, they raised a beautiful family, including their son Christopher Lee (Annette) and daughters Stephanie Gates (Allen), Candace Dunion, Christy Hartl (Joe), and Brandie Salter (David). Wayne was a cherished brother to Eugene, Gary, Danny Lee, Barbara LaRue, Debra Valentine, and Janice Burke. His legacy of love continues through his 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and laughter to his life.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy (Anderson) Lee, his daughter Marie Crumbie, and his brother Harold Lee, Wayne's memory will be cherished and kept alive in the hearts of those who loved him.

Wayne's Christian faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through times of joy and hardship with grace and humility. He found solace and strength in his beliefs, and his kindness and compassion were a reflection of his spiritual convictions.

An avid lover of nature and the great outdoors, Wayne found beauty and peace in the simplicity of working in his yard, watching movies to unwind, and painting cars, a hobby that showcased his artistic talent and meticulous attention to detail. His easy going personality made him a pleasure to be around, and his presence was a source of comfort to all who knew him.

Above all, Wayne was a family man. He adored his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whose achievements and milestones were a source of great pride. As a father, he was loving and supportive, always there to offer guidance or a helping hand.

Wayne will be remembered for the warmth of his smile, the gentleness of his spirit, and the boundless love he gave. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him, but his influence will continue to be felt through the values he instilled in his family and the countless memories they shared.

As we bid farewell to Mr. Joseph "Wayne" Lee, we take solace in knowing that his was a life well-lived, full of love, laughter, and the simple pleasures that make life worth living. He will be deeply missed by all who were touched by his kindness and generosity. Wayne's life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family, and his legacy will live on for generations to come.
