Joe, Mike & Anthony: Sorry to read about your dad´s passing, but I´m sure you have many great memories to remind you of the great times you spent with him. I know how much he thought of you back in my OVNB days. Always a mention of the family when he came into the bank in the 70´s. Also, his obit says it all about his work ethic and variety of accomplishments. It surely is something your family can be very proud of. Glad I had the chance to meet him and consider him as a friend and great businessman. Tom B

In memory of my Uncle Joe,
Our condolences to the entire Leibl family. My memories of Uncle Joe are all the same. A loving, kind-hearted man with a big heart for family. I am proud to be a part of his extended family and have wonderful, warm memories of time spent together through the years. Annual July 4th picnics at the camp will always be one of my favorite memories of time spent together. He loved to take us all out on his boat and I enjoyed seeing his joy in doing so. Rest in peace, Uncle Joe. You will be greatly missed.

One great man and great family, met Joe when I owned chatterbox restaurant in Canastota he was a steady customer would bring some of his customers with him for lunch almost every day. Joe used to enjoy hot peppers and I always had them everyday. Joe would go to his camp on the weekends and I always have hot peppers for him to bring to camp along with meatballs & sausage as a way to thank him for supporting me in my business. Never complain about the prices in the restaurant. In later years we would have breakfast together in local restaurants, always took the bill and paid for breakfast and didn't matter how many sat with us . He will be missed in our community by many but not forgotten rest in peace Joe.
