Joseph is preceded in death by his parents, Felix and Luz Lerma; his brothers, John Lerma, Felix Lerma and Valentine Lerma; one sister, Mary McMillian.
He is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Creasy and wife, Anna of Van Cleave, Mississippi, Joseph and wife, Amber of Floresville, Texas; numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren, Alexis, Jeremiah, Skiler, Brooklyn, Logan of Van Cleave, Mississippi, Aubrey and Abigail of Floresville, Texas.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Anita Zavala and husband, Manuel of Brownsville, Texas, Maria Lerma of Risco, Missouri, Erlinda Wilson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Guadalupe Contreras of Fargo, North Dakota, Juanita Villeda and husband, Ernesto of Avon Park, Florida, Jesse Lerma of Groveland, Florida, Julian Lerma and wife, Jessica of Portageville, MO, Reynalda Lerma, Isabel Ross, Lenora Stacy of Malden, Missouri.
Joseph was an uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. Joe enjoyed spending time with family.
His homegoing celebration will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, with Brother Julian Lerma.
