Joseph Russell Lloyd was born on January 15, 1952, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and he lived a life rich with passion and creativity. He passed away peacefully in Bowling Green on January 23, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love for music and the arts.
Throughout his life, Joseph had a strong affection for music and enjoyed his time as a deejay in his younger years. His enthusiasm for drawing and creating also showcased his artistic spirit, which brought joy not only to him but to those around him.
Joseph is survived by his nephew, Courtney Neal, and his niece, Holly Jackson, who will remember him fondly for his vibrant personality and the warmth he brought to their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Georgia Bailey Lloyd and Lethon Lloyd, as well as his sister, Rosemary Whitlow. His grandparents, Florence Loving Bailey and Virgil Bailey, also welcomed him with open arms in their eternal rest.
A graveside service will be held for Joseph at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, Kentucky, on February 6, 2026, at 1:00 PM, with the service concluding at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor his memory during this time.
