Joseph Logan Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Fort Worth Funerals & Cremations on Dec. 23, 2025.
Joseph "The King Man" Logan, age 80, of Dallas, Texas, peacefully transitioned on December 16, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.

Joseph was born and raised in Dallas, where he built a life rooted in family, friendship, and joy. He attended B. F. Darrell and Booker T. Washington High School.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Andrew and Faye Logan; his brothers, David A. Logan, Billy J. Logan, Dwight Logan, and Gary Logan; and his sisters, Sandra Morrison and Joyce Logan.

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Jonathan Jemerson (Judy Lashun) and Charles Wallace; Regina Alredge; his brothers, Larry Logan (Doris) and Eugene Brannon (Allie); as well as his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Affectionately known as "The King Man," Joseph was known for his warm spirit, infectious laughter, and love of good times. He especially enjoyed playing poker and pool, and nothing brought him more happiness than laughing and spending time with family and friends. His presence could light up any room, and his stories and humor will be remembered always.

A Celebration of Life Service honoring Joseph's life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home, Dallas, TX on December 30, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the life, love, and legacy of a man who meant so much to so many.

Joseph "The King Man" Logan will forever remain in our hearts.
