Joseph J. Markulics

Joseph J. Markulics, Jr., 82, of Bushkill Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at Northampton Post Acute. He was the beloved husband of Jane Markulics (Rodgers) to whom he was married to for 63 years. Born in Allentown, Joseph was a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Ruth Markulics (Wambold). He was a 1961 graduate of Northampton High School.

He retired as a Union Carpenter, but farming was his lifelong passion. He worked his own land at JM Acres Farm and the Amore Farm, carrying forward a deep connection to agriculture. His family fondly described him as farm-raised and corn-fed-a reflection of his roots, work ethic, and way of life.

In addition to his wife, he will be dearly missed by 3 sons and 3 daughters; 3 grandchildren; 2 brothers and 1 sister; many nieces & nephews. Joe was predeceased by 6 siblings.

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at 11 AM in the GEORGE G. BENSING FUNERAL HOME, INC. - 2165 Community Drive - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and Relatives are invited to call from 10 AM until the time of the prayers. Interment will follow at Sky-View Memorial Park - Tamaqua, PA.
