Joseph Jedidiah "Jj" Martin

In loving memory of Joseph "JJ" Jedidiah Martin, who passed away on March 23, 2024, in San Clemente, California, in a solo car accident after texting his dad: "Comin home". He was born on October 14, 2006 in Washington State. Joseph's recent journal entries captured his gratitude for his faith in Jesus, his church community, and the love of his family and friends. He loved his pets, music, the beach, books, sunsets, and the Bible. He excelled as an athlete, son, brother, friend, employee and student, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Known for his growing faith, his authenticity, inquiring mind, thoughtfulness, passion, kindness, and good looks, Joseph's memory will forever be cherished by those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his siblings Elizabeth, Benjamin, and Gabrielle and his loving parents, Sahl and Sara. At age 17, Joseph lived a life that leaves a legacy of authenticity and triumph.

Saturday, April 6th, 12:00 noon, internment at Mountain View Cemetery, 2400 N. Fair Oaks Ave., Altadena, California, in the Deodar Lane Plot, Lot 2421, the family burial site of Joseph's great-great-grandparents, The Reverend Walter C. Buckner and his wife Eva. Parking is limited, so please carpool.
Saturday, April 6th, 6-7:30pm, a reception and sunset farewell starting at 411 Avenida Grenada and proceeding to the San Clemente Pier

with me and to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self, that I
may better do Thy will. Take away my
difficulties, that victory over them may
bear witness to those I would help of
Thy Power, Thy Love, and Thy way of
life. May I do thy will always!
