Joseph Anthony Martinetti Born in Ely, Minnesota on June 9, 1922 and passed on his 89th birthday, June 9, 2011, in Santa Ana, California. He loved singing, dancing, fishing, working crossword puzzles, and being involved at the Lakewood VFW, Post 8615. He was also a long time member of the Elks Club. He served in the Navy during WWII and worked 32 years for the General Motors Corporation. He is survived by his sister, Ruth; son, Patrick; daughter, Katherine; 4 granddaughters; and 13 great-grandchildren. MY GRANDPA WAS A GREAT MAN,HE was always there for me.I will miss him more than anyone can imagine.I hope i will be a wonderful grandparent like he was.I love you grandpa you will always be in my heart .I will cherish my memories forever and share them with my children.
