Joseph McKinney Obituary
Pembroke- Mr. Joseph Adam McKinney, Sr. age 59, passed away Monday, July 8, 2024. Mr. McKinney was born in Claxton, GA to the late Milton McKinney and Doris Barnard McKinney. Adam was a tree surgeon with Jones Brothers Tree Surgeons and was a heavy equipment operator. He was an excellent mechanic and worked on everything from small engines to diesels. Adam loved NASCAR, fishing and racing go carts. In addition to his parents, Mr. McKinney was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Anderson and six brothers, Michael McKinney, Gary McKinney, Leslie McKinney, Eric McKinney, Sr, Raybon Kangeter and Rufus Kangeter.
Survivors include his son Joseph Adam McKinney, Jr of Savannah; wife, Monica M. McKinney of Pooler; stepdaughter, Shelby Price of Pooler; one sister, Sharon Kangeter of Pembroke and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 10-11 A.M. Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the funeral home.
Funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. Saturday, July 13, 2024 in the chapel of Flanders Powell Funeral Home with Pastor Stan Tyson officiating. Interment will follow in Northside Cemetery
