We knew Joe & Janie in Parsons. Both of us were newly weds (1968). Jim & Joe loved to play tennis often. Janie & I were learning to be mothers of our sons. A truly wonderful family! We send our love & condolences to Jane & family. Jim & Linda Nichols

Joe Mcliney was an honorary member of the Malley family. If there was ever a friendship to envy it was between my brother, Mike and Joe. The lifelong antics and bond between Mike and Joe were incredible. Joe made you feel as if you were the most important person in the room. He was always there.....always.
My condolences to the family. He was truly one of the best! My only thought is "watch out heaven there is one great big party about to begin"!

I am very sorry to hear this sad news. I first met Joe McLiney at Maur Hill Prep In Atchison. Joe was not only a great athlete he was one of the nicest guys in school to underclassmen. When I was in congress I always valued Joe´s wise advice about banking matters and other current events. Joe was a man of great integrity. He was honest, smart and kind and cared deeply about his family and community. He will be missed by all who were blessed to know him. I extend my deepest sympathy to Jane and the entire McLiney Family. Sincerely.
