Joseph Gerard Melling, Jr., 65 years old of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away, Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at his home. He was born on Thursday, November 17, 1949, in New Orleans, LA. Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Donaghey Melling; sisters, Jeanne M. Hanna of Ponchatoula, LA and Frances Yates of Picayune, MS; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Lucille Owen Melling and brother, Robert E. Melling. Friends will be received Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 12:00 pm until the memorial service begins at 1:00 pm at Bethel Church Of God, 25001 Memory Lane, Ponchatoula LA 70454.
