Joseph “Joey” Alan Miller, age 67, of Oglethorpe, Georgia, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026.
A graveside service will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 28. 2026 at Bertha-Dozier Memorial Park in Montezuma, Georgia. Visitation will be held at Bertha-Dozier Memorial Park an hour prior to the service.
Joey was born on March 19, 1958 to the late Arthur Thompson Miller Sr. and Bettye Wells Miller. He loved gardening, hunting, and most outdoor activities. He was a member of Whitewater Baptist Church in Oglethorpe, Georgia.
Mr. Miller is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Mechelle Miller; son, Andrew Joseph Miller; sister, Debra Miller Messer (Roger); and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Bettye Miller; and his brother, Arthur Thompson Miller Jr.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Watson-Mathews Funeral Home in Montezuma, Georgia.
