Joseph Minson Obituary

"JD" as he was affectionately called by family & friends, was educated in the public schools of Richland County. He was an established professional painter for over 40 years. He started painting as a teenager for Mr. Richardson with Columbia Housing Authority. In his later years he also worked for the Greyhound Bus Station.
Joseph was a loving and dedicated son, brother, uncle, cousin, and dear friend to many. He lived life enjoying family and friends. He enjoyed cooking and feeding family and friends or anyone he could help. He was always ready to fire up the grill. He was also ready and willing to help family and friends who needed a painting job.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert Minson, and Solomon "Jimmy Lee" Brunson.
Joseph Minson leaves to cherish his memories his siblings, Marsha Minson, Bernice (James) Brown, Bessie (Michael) Fulwiley, Melvin Minson, John ( Tyronda) Minson, and Gregory (Mary) Minson; and a host of nephews, nieces, other loving relatives, and dear friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
