Joseph Morrison Obituary
Joseph "Joe" Morrison, 67 of Zanesville, went home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2023, with his family by his side.
He was born on July 15, 1956, in Zanesville, Ohio, son of the late Joseph V. Morrison and Suzanne Brown Morrison. Joe was a master mechanic at Mid-Atlantic Canners and a legendary Ohio big buck hunter and fisherman. He was known for his vast knowledge of local history and ran a local history website. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing music with his band, 'Hard Times'. He was loved by many and will be missed by everyone that knew him.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Robin (Hopper) Morrison; daughter, Lisa Kay (Keith) Morrison-Dillinger; son, Joseph (Jeannie) Morrison II; grandson, Colton (Savannah) Dickerson, Joseph (Karlee) Morrison III, Collin Dickerson; sister, Deborah Mitchell; 2 little buddies, Alaina Hollingshead and Layne Ridenour; many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph V. Morrison and Suzanne Brown Morrison; grandparents, Virginia and Gordi Swick.
Per Joe's wishes, no calling hours or services will be held at this time. A dignified cremation will take place.
