Joseph shared many loving and meaningful years with his life partner, Ellen Brady, who preceded him in death. Predeceased by his parents Marie (Winslow) and Patrick Murphy. Survived by his children Kathleen Von Berg, (Kenneth), Michelle Strain (Bobby), and Joseph Murphy (Nancy); his 7 cherished grandchildren, Sarah (Joe), Jennifer, Jenna, Amanda, Lindsy, Joseph Jr, and Joshua (Jenna); his step-children Kimberly Eager (George), Robert F. Brady (Maria), also his step-grandchildren, Alexandra (Joe), Serena, Richard, Robert and 2 step-great grandchildren, Scarlet and Shayne.
Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday Evening December 11th from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. at The Danjolell Memorial Home of Broomall 2811 West Chester Pike 19008. Also relatives and friends are invited on Friday Morning December 12th ; 11:00 a.m. to his Graveside Military Burial Service at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd., Newtown, PA 18940.
