July 2, 1934 - October 28, 2024

Redmond, Oregon - Joseph Stephen Oros, 90, of Redmond, OR passed away on October 28, 2024 from complications due to a head injury.

Joseph was predeceased by his wife, Mary Oros, who died earlier this year. He is survived by their three children and spouses, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Joseph was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and was a graduate of Bridgeport Engineering Institute. After a career in manufacturing and industrial sales, Joe and Mary retired to Bluffton, South Carolina in 2000. He was an active member of his church and volunteered for several local charities.

Joe will be remembered for his outgoing personality, optimism, and dedication to his wife and family.

An interment ceremony will be conducted in January 2025 at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Bluffton, SC.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I'm I tetested in the fact that Joseph was born in Ridgemont, CT since mymaiden name was also Oros (Andrea) daughter of Andrew Joseph Oros who had a brother, Stephen Oros and we all were born in Bridgeport and lived I. Fairfield County. My Dad's mother's name was Mary Ritarchik Oros. Can we possibly be related?

Oros Family, Connie and I are very sorry to read about Joe 's passing, We had been talking with Mike and his move to Oregon. We were good friends with Joe & Mary, He was a great guy and will be missed.
