Joseph Santos Pascual, a beloved family man and cherished member of his community, passed away on February 5, 2026, in Kannapolis, NC, at the age of 66. Born on May 11, 1959, in the Philippines, Joseph was known for his warm personality, quick wit, and kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Joseph was a devoted partner to Leticia Cooper and a proud father to his children: Anne Marie (Steven) Hatfield, Michael (Cristina) Cooper, Christine (Rikki) My, Brian (Sheena) Pascual, and Christian Joseph Pascual. His grandchildren, Katelyn Hatfield, Steven Hatfield, Jr., Melanie Hatfield, Anthony My, Victoria Pearl My, Jonathan Michael My, and Sherian Pascual were lights of his life, bringing immense joy and pride to his heart.
He is also survived by his loving siblings: Irene (Leo) Ferrer, Loida Santos Pascual, Sherwin (Myrna) Pascual, Orlie (Virginia) Pascual, brother-in-law Norberto Domingo, and sister-in-law Aida (Tim) Payne. Joseph's family bonds extended to his nephew Nathan Payne, who he held dear.
Joseph was predeceased by his father, Benjamin Pascual, his mother, Sylvia Santos Pascual, and his sister, Enone Pascual Domingo. Their memories remained with him, shaping the loving person he became.
Known for his jovial spirit, Joseph had a talent for bringing smiles to those around him. He enjoyed hobbies such as bowling, dancing, singing, and shopping, but above all, he found the greatest happiness in cooking and spending quality time with family. A huge fan of the Chargers, he brought excitement to every game day, sharing these moments with loved ones.
A visitation will be held at Raymer-Kepner Chapel in Huntersville, NC, on February 12, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Joseph Santos Pascual's life was a testament to the love of family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
