His goofy sense of humor was a defining feature, endearing him to many as someone who never missed a chance to bring smiles to faces, especially among his closest loved ones. His dedication as a family man was unwavering, cherishing every moment spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

A devoted New England Patriots fan, Scott’s enthusiasm for sports extended to his admiration for NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney, reflecting his love for the thrill and camaraderie of the raceway. He was a connoisseur of pizza, always finding comfort in sharing a good meal, which complemented his enjoyment of heavy metal music, an interest that revealed the depth and variety of his tastes. He is also survived by his three wonderful children: Jeffery, Shyanne, and Rider Marchand. His love extended gracefully to his grandchildren, Jade and Sapphire Marchand, who brought him immense joy. Scott is also remembered by his father, Arthur Marchand and his brother, Keith Marchand.

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Scott’s life will be held on March 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Raymer-Kepner Chapel, located at 16901 Old Statesville Rd, Huntersville, North Carolina. Friends and family are invited to join in remembering a man whose simple joys, love, and laughter enriched the lives of all who knew him.
