Joseph R. Pecore

Joseph R. Pecore, a cherished friend passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the age of 53, in his Mishawaka home. Born on August 24, 1971, in Chicago, IL, Joseph was the son of the late Ronald Joseph Pecore and Janinne Maria Fanio. His warm presence and steadfast friendship were a comfort to many, including his close friends Kristine Stokely and Adrianne Stokely, who will deeply miss his companionship and support.
Joseph spent his last working years in the shipping department at FedEx, where he spends his time loading trucks. He also worked at Red Lobster, and Goodwill, and he took on after-hours cleaning roles at establishments such as Kroger. Additionally, Joseph was skilled in roofing, which he did on the side, showcasing his diverse abilities and his willingness to lend a hand wherever it was needed.
Joseph's interests were as varied as his work history. He was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of the water. His love for animals was evident to all who knew him, especially in his affection for dogs and cats. Joseph's adventurous spirit also took him to different places, as he cherished the opportunity to travel and experience new sights and cultures.
Though Joseph's journey on earth has come to an end, his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He was a man who found joy in the simple pleasures of life and inspired others to appreciate the everyday moments.
In accordance with Joseph's wishes, there will be no services. Palmer Funeral Home - River Park Chapel 2528 Mishawaka Ave, South Bend, IN 46615, is assisting the family with arrangements.
