Joseph Perkins, age 40, left the world far too soon on January 11th, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio on February 14th,1985. He was a dedicated father, a beloved son, and a treasured presence in the lives of those who knew him.
As a son, Joseph was caring, respectful, and deeply connected to his family. He had a special bond with his parents—working alongside his father on countless projects, from cars and interior design to outdoor work, never missing their time together. He spoke with his mother weekly, carrying her love and guidance with him always. Throughout his life, he showed his love not only through words, but through his actions. He was someone we could always count on—steady, kind, and selfless.
As a father, Joseph’s greatest joy was his daughter Allysia. He loved her deeply, and his dedication to being a father turned into an obsession to make sure she wanted for nothing. He took pride in guiding, supporting, and protecting her. His influence, care, and love will continue to shape her life for years to come.
Those who knew Joseph knew he loved to cook for his friends and family; he loved Ninja Turtles and Muppets. He was hilarious and a master of trash-talking- he always found a way to make fun of something or someone. He was highly intelligent, a hard worker, and deeply respected by all his co-workers. He loved to read books and comics, matching clothes with his family, hiking, playing basketball, volleyball, watching movies, and tv shows. He and Allysia could recite every episode of The Regular Show by heart. His love language was quality time, and he gave it freely. While he appreciated all music, hip-hop held a special place in his heart. Joseph was everyone’s cheerleader and always seemed to know exactly what to say. He will be remembered for his gentle heart, steady presence, and unwavering loyalty—he always had your back. He carried a quiet strength, a warm smile, and a way of making people feel at ease. Though his absence is deeply felt, his memory will live on forever.
Joseph is survived by his beloved daughter, Allysia Perkins; his parents, Joyce and Gerald Perkins; and many loving family members and friends who will continue to honor his life. Though his life was far too short, the impact he made was profound. He will be remembered always, loved forever, and missed beyond words.
