Joseph Pignatello, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle and friend, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the age of 75. He was a lifelong resident of Clifton where he spent many years and made many lasting friendships before making his home in Toms River for the past 18 years.

Joe was the owner and operator of Pignatello Enterprises, where his hard work and dedication became his professional legacy. Even more central to his life, was his love and devotion to his family. He was a loving father to his daughter, Lauren, his son Rick and wife Justina, and his dog, Moa. He was a devoted and loving grandfather to Olivia, Ava, Mason, and Julianna. Outside of being an avid Yankee fan, Joe's greatest joy came from watching his kids play sports through the years and more recently his grandkids. He was truly their "biggest fan."

Beloved son of the late Joseph Sr. and Ann Pignatello, Joe is survived by his loving siblings, Paul and wife Patty, Dave and wife Nancy, Donna and husband Mitch White, his nieces, nephews and their children, his cousins and his aunts Yolanda Peterpaul and Angie Intile who will remember him fondly. Honoring his wishes, a private cremation has taken place. The family invites friends to join them for a Memorial in honor of Joe's life on Sunday, October 26, from 10 AM to 12 PM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
