Joseph D. Porcelli

Joseph D. Porcelli of Feasterville, PA formerly of Philadelphia (Germantown) went home to be with our lord on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Joseph was born August 20, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Sabrina (Della Fortuna) and Pietro Porcelli. He was 82 years old. Joe was in OSIA for 43 years, starting as a Financial Secretary and Chairman of some committees and became Charter member, founder and the proud President of the Bella Dente Lodge of Bensalem-OSIA #2603 since its inception (the past 27 years) as well as being District Chairman and B.I.F. Commissioner for OSIA. He was also State/Grand Deputy to the then Central Bucks-Cross Keys Lodge in Warrington, PA for close to 13 years which Lodge honored him for his accomplishment. In addition, Joe was honored as a great President/Man of the Year at the Bella Dente Lodge 25th Anniversary celebration in 2012. Joe was self employed as an auto mechanic at his own shop on Ivy Hill Road in Wyndmoor and various other places and also worked at McDonald’s on Street Road in Feasterville. Joe was a dedicated Trustee, doing the work of the Lord, at Eddington Presbyterian Church. He was an avid golf player, enjoyed bowling and dancing. Joe was also in the Navy reserves for 4 years. Joe was the beloved husband of Nancy (Timperio), Doting Daddy to his loving Mia, father to Mary DeBow (Steve), brother to Victor (Angie), Mike (Pat), and Pete (Kathy) Grandfather to Mellisa Copp-Flynn (Joe), Steve DeBow, Jr., Renee DeBow. Godfather to Deneen Procelli Mench. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and is uncle to many nieces ,nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sons Joseph S. and Joseph D. Porcelli, Jr. and his sister Mary DeBrino and Jim. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Wednesday Eve from 7 to 9 PM at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, PC., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020 and again from 10 to 11 AM at Eddington Presbyterian Church, 3650 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by his service at 11 AM.
