Joseph S. Prementine

Joseph S. Prementine Jr.,93, of Pittsburgh, PA, passed away on October 2, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY surrounded by his family. He worked at Matthews International for 42 years as a Production Manager. He was a devout Catholic and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Anne Prementine, and his siblings, George Prementine and Elinor Finegan.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy Prementine (nee Ambro); his sons, Wayne (Rowena Schwartz) Prementine and Glenn (Rosalia) Prementine; and his sister, Marion Prementine.
He also leaves behind his grandson, Christopher (Liz) Prementine.
There will be two services for Mr. Prementine.
The first visitation will be on Saturday, October 7, 2023 from 11AM-12PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Burlington, KY, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12PM at the church.
The second visitation will take place on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 10AM-12PM at Savolski-Wasik-Glenn Funeral Home in Munhall, PA, followed by a short prayer service at the funeral home at 12PM.
He will have a committal service at Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, PA following the service at the funeral home.
