87, of Narragansett and Ft. Myers, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Graves) Previte.
Born in Sicily, he was a son of the late Antonio and Concetta (Moraca) Previte. He served in the RI National Guard for seven years.
Mr. Previte retired from AMS Imaging in Warwick. He was a member of the Narragansett Lions Club and the Johnston K of C. Joe was a devoted New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. He enjoyed cooking and having fun.
Besides his wife, he leaves two daughters, Gina Janton and her husband Joe of Cranston and Shelley Previte of Narragansett; two siblings, Peter Previte of North Providence and Roseann Kane of FL; a granddaughter Maddison and great-grandson Devin. He was the brother of the late Anthony Previte, Marie Mitchell and Frances Insana.
Visitation 9-10am Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Entombment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
