Joseph Ravalese Obituary

Joseph Carl Ravalese, 78 of Windsor passed away on Saturday, October 15 peacefully at home. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Linda Roberts Ravalese, his daughters, Karin Ravalese and Sheryl Ravalese-Maggipinto and beloved grandson, Dominic Maggipinto all of Windsor, his brothers and sister-in-law, George and Beverly Roberts of Somers and Paul Riccio of Myrtle Beach, SC, his Aunt Gloria Capobianco of Florida and many beloved Ravalese and Capobianco cousins. Joe was predeceased by his sister. Patricia Ricco, his mother, Josephine Capobianco Ravalese and father, Michael J. Ravalese. Joe was a graduate of Mitchell College in New London and was the owner along with his daughter, Karin, of R&R Fruit and Produce, Inc. Upon his retirement and birth of Dominic in 2010, he provided "Grampy DayCare" when Sheryl returned to work after her maternity leave. Joe was a huge influence and loved his grandson. He took him for swimming lessons, back and forth to school, basketball, etc. He was always there to offer friendly advice and a good kick in the butt, when needed. Joe was a family man and was always there for his family to lend a helping hand. He was also a wonderful cook and enjoyed cooking holiday meals with his daughter Sheryl. Anyone that knows Joe, will never forget him. We love him dearly and will miss him so much. His family will receive friends on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4-7 PM at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. The wake will conclude with a prayer service at 6:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's name to The Windsor Ambulance, P.O.
