Joe Ravalese did, indeed, have a huge heart and was a mainstay of the Enfield community. The food he served was superb; every dish was wonderful and I brought many a friend and transplanted Enfieldites back to enjoy his establishment. We had my dad's commemorative luncheon there and the entire family had a fabulous time. // It was definitely his altruistic and generous nature that absolutely shined throughout; his devotion to his fellow police officers and first responders was legendary in Enfield. May he rest with God and the angels; may they offer peace and respite from all cares.

I have known Joe for over twenty years. The Country Diner was where I had my Sunday Breakfast every Sunday that I was in town. Joe, over the years, did so many kind things for people who needed a little help When he was in the diner, you knew he Would have a smile for all his customers, new of long time. Heaven is a better place with Joe up there. Some day I will come to your diner up there. Until then, Rest In Peace Joe. Maureen Longo

Whenever I had meetings away from my work site, the Country Diner was often where I stopped for breakfast. Joe was usually there and took very good care of me and most of the customers; many were daily regulars. You walked in the place and you knew that Law Enforcement people were welcomed. He had emblems from everywhere on the walls. PLUS, the food was delicious...never had a bad meal. I had a few conversations with Joe and they were always pleasant. Just knowing that he´s no longer with us invokes a deep feeling of loss. Family, I grieve with you today...Rest easy Joe.

My wife Barbara and I met Joe through my good friend Paul Riccio SNETCO. Joe treated us as family , no other way to explain it! Generous, caring and pleasant are the best verbiage when it comes to Joe. Wish we had known Joe earlier in life. Joe put true meaning to A a friend of yours is a friend of mine. His support for the many charities, always there for everyone!!! I spoke with Joe a few times in the last few years. Always happy and appreciative to hear from me! It was an honor to have had Joe as our friend! Our respect and sympathy´s to Joes family and may your hearts heal and a smile come upon you when thinking of the many good times!

I´ve lived in Enfield for over thirty years and have a number of occasions to meet Joe when he was a police officer as well as the owner of Country Diner. I will always remember the kindness he has shown my family and the support he has given the community. Thank you, Joe!
