Joseph Renehan Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Michael Renehan, 64, of Westminster, MD passed away on September 21, 2025 at Carroll Hospital Center. Born on August 17, 1961 in Olney, MD, Joe is the son of James Michael Renehan and Lolita "Chi-Chi" Ruth (Barnhart) Renehan. Joe is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rhonda Gail Renehan. Joe was a huge fan of baseball and football, always cheering on the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens and also loved watching Nascar and motocross. He was a hard worker, with it often being said he worked too much but he cherished his family more than anything. Joe spent 11 years racing motocross with his son Travis and would do anything for his son and grandchildren. Joe is survived by his son, Travis Renehan and wife, Katie; grandchildren, Clayton, Addison, and Emma; long-time companion, Norma Poole; siblings, James "Jamie" Brian Renehan and wife, Lan, and Paula Elizabeth Thacker; and beloved dog, "Ringo". In accordance with Joe's wishes, he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Carroll County, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, Maryland 21158, or online at https://hscarroll.org/donate.
