I had recently met Joe as a result of a business relationship. Although we only spent a half day together it was apparent Joe was a very special person. Joe spoke extensively about his family during our meeting. He was so proud. To all of you my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Joe was my patient and I did not know him well. But in the small amount of interaction I had with him I found him to be an extremely energetic and fun person. Last time he was in our office he was bragging on his little guy and we were sharing anecdotes about our sons. I am sorry for the loss for his young family. My thoughts and prayers go out to them in this trying time. It would seem he was taken too young and he will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Missy and Family, No words can ease the loss of Joe and he will be dearly missed by all of us at Future Foam. Missy, he adored you and Sam. He loved to show off new pictures. I loved the picture of Sam at the pumpkin patch. I never met his mom, but he would tell us how she would spoil him this time of year and how much he didn't want her to do that. I think he really loved it though. My thoughts are with all of you and hope you find the strengths in each other to get through this tough time.

Today at mass, Father Hunke gave the homily. He was discussing how it is important to ask yourself each and every day how God shows himself in our daily lives. In illustrating how important it is to reflect and live each day to the fullest, he shared an amazing story of how he married a beautiful couple 5 years ago at Cathedral. He went on to speak of Joseph's illness and how Joseph was a man that had no regrets; a beautiful wife, adorable son and amazing family & friends. My heart was heavy today as I pray for you, Melissa and your precious son -Samuel.
God Bless-

A shining star still burns bright. Joey's work and goodness is done here on earth. Joey had excelled and succeeded on figuring out Earthly life...Now our Lord has graduated him with Honors and Valedictorian status. He has now been assigned an extremely important task, he must help prepare the heavens for all of those that will follow. Many Family and Friends will miss their times with him horribly, but we all must rejoice in the fact that Joey's brilliant mind, will and spirit is helping to pave our path to our final destination!!
My heart aches for the Rewolinski family,I know the pain is deep.... but it also swells with pride and confidence that I was blessed to have crossed paths with one of our Lords chosen ones! God Bless you Rewolinski family, what a wonderful gift the Lord gave you to cherish even for a short time.

Missy,
After working with Joe at KPMG and then leading him to the new fishing camp in Kenora, Canada this past summer, I was thankful to spend these times with him. We shared an incredible amount of laughter discussing the friendly competitiveness between he, his brother and Dad in the fishing boat, and just listening to Joe's stories in the evenings at camp brought tears of laughter to my eyes. I hope you and Sammy continue to carry on Joe's contagious smile, as he always had a smile on his face, especially when he was telling me about how you were trying to whip him into triathalon/marathon type shape, or whenever he would talk about times with Sammy. Rely on the Lord our God during these difficult times, and one day you will be rejoicing with Joe again in Heaven, as he truly is one of God's great angels today. A great guy with a great family is what I remember the most about Joe!

I'll always remember Joe for a couple of things. After High School I would run into Joe about once a year and we would have a similar conversation where Joe would ask about my family and how everything was going. I could always tell in these conversations that Joe genuinly cared about other people and this is a trait to be proud of. The other thing I always remember about Joe is the huge smile and positive attitute he had. He would bring happiness to a room and it would show in the people around him. He was loved for many traits and I think these are just a couple of them. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Missy, Sam, Mikey and the rest of the family,
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to you on your loss. You and Joe will be in our thoughts and prayers. It is an extremely tough time but always know there are people around who care and can comfort you. God took another good one.

I grew up with joe and mike, they lived a couple houses down from me. Its strange as a kid we had no fear of anything, played in the creek, baskestball at oppy's house, football in the street, and told stories of what we were going to be as adults, like we were bragging to out do each other. I'll keep those memories close to my heart. As we get older we always remember the good times as childeren. Iam very sorry to hear of loss of a son, father, brother, and a friend. He will be missed.

Missy,
Words cannot express the sadness felt at the loss of Joe. I feel privileged to know Joe Rewolinski. I am thankful for the time I spent with Joe at work, on the softball field, and on bike rides. Several times our conversations turned to life events like careers, friends, and family. He adored you, Missy and was so happy and proud to be a father to Samuel. You guys were the light of his life and it showed in every conversation with Joe. I will miss Joe, his laugh, his good nature, and his contagious smile. I will miss his positive attitude, and how incredibly genuine he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Samuel and your family. He will be greatly missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am shocked and deeply saddened by the news of Joe passing as I just spoken with him on Friday. Joe and my relationship was professional. You just couldn't ask for a better guy to work with. Joe and I share a love for college sports. He hosted me at the CWS when my Gamecocks beat Arizona State in game 7. It was the only time that we ever met face-to-face.
