Joseph Reynolds

Joseph Reynolds passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family in Albany, New York.

Joseph's life was a reflection of quiet strength, deep love, and genuine kindness. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him. His generosity knew no bounds-he gave freely of himself, even when he had little, and never hesitated to help others in need. Though he lived simply, his life was abundantly rich in love, and the memories he created will be cherished forever.

He found true happiness in the little things in life-time spent with his children, laughter shared with loved ones, and the comfort of being surrounded by family. He was a devoted and die-hard New York Giants fan who loved watching football games, often cheering on his team with a heartfelt "Let's go Giants." His siblings, nieces, and nephews meant everything to him, and he held each of them close to his heart.

Joseph is survived by his loving children, Isaac, Joseph Jr., Tashia, Karissa (Wayne Robinson) and Ashley; his treasured grandson, Zachary; and his sisters, Debbie; Dorothy (Darius "JR." Salisbury; and Lisa (the late Eugene "Duke" Berhaupt), along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Pearl Reynolds, and his favorite brother, Billy "Mad Dog" Reynolds.

Joseph will be deeply missed, and his legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, April 10 from 12-2pm in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 2pm.
