Joe leaves behind a loving family who will always cherish his memory. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Edith Roller, and one of his brothers, Thomas. Those who remain to honor his memory include his two brothers, Richard Roller Jr. (Mary) and James Roller (Bettye), along with his sister, Patricia Boland. Joe will be deeply missed by his numerous nieces and nephews, including Joseph Roller (Toni), Richard Roller (Gloria), Katie Maxwell (Christopher), Catherine Roller, Michael Roller, Elizabeth Roller, Sarah Roller, Lilly Roller, Zachary Roller, Samantha Roller, Joseph Maxwell, Averie Maxwell, and Benjamin Maxwell.
Joe attended Horseheads High School, graduating in the class of 1968, where he laid the foundation for a life characterized by kindness, generosity, and a great sense of humor. After school, he started working as a bartender at the Flaming Pit in Big Flats, NY. While working at Flaming Pit, he was promoted to Assistant Manager and was moved to Michigan where he eventually dedicated his career to being a Shipping Dispatcher at Plastipak, in Plymouth, Michigan, where his loyalty and hardworking nature made him a respected colleague and friend.
Joe was known for his generous spirit and the laughter he brought into every room. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted soul who touched the lives of many. As we gather to celebrate his life, we remember him not just for his departure, but for the love and laughter he shared with each of us. May his humor and warmth continue to inspire us all. Rest in Peace, you will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 10:00 AM at King of Peace, MMC, located at 6085 Park Blvd, Pinellas Park, FL 33781. Please join us as we reminisce and share stories of Joe, whose kind and generous spirit was always accompanied by a quick-witted joke.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Joe's beloved church, King of Peace, MMC.
