Joseph A. Secino

FITCHBURG-Joseph A. Secino, 91, former lifelong resident of Fitchburg passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022.
He was born in Fitchburg on May 13, 1930 a son of the late Daniel J. and Jeanette (DiGeronimo) Secino.
Joe was a graduate of Fitchburg High School and shortly thereafter joined the United States Army and served his Country during the Korean Conflict.
Throughout his career, Joe worked in the jewelry industry, and had managed the jewelry departments at the former Prime Value Mart and former R&R Jewelry Company both in Fitchburg.
Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed skiing with his family, hiking and the beach. Joe was a talented piano player and artist.
He leaves his wife of 65 years, Pauline M. Secino; a son, Kevin N. Secino and his wife Patricia of Leominster and a daughter, Karen J. Secino of Barnstable; a sister Rosalie Kifer of Fitchburg; former son-in-law, Mitch Holmes of Barnstable; five grandchildren, Ryan Secino and his wife Beth of Leominster, Stephen Secino and his wife Kara of Portsmouth, RI, Meaghan McNamara and her husband Tim of Fitchburg, Conner Holmes and Lauren Holmes both of Barnstable; six great-grandchildren, Reed, Brooke, Charlotte, Mason, McKenna and Madison and many nephews and nieces.
He is predeceased by a brother, Daniel J. Secino, Jr.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 11AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg followed by a burial in St. Bernard's Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
