SHEWCIW Joseph A., 67, of Twp. of Washington, NJ, on Sunday, October 3, 2010. Joe was born in Yonkers, NY to William and Mary Shewciw. He was a Mechanical Engineer for Burns and Roe, Oradell, NJ. He was a past President of the Washington Township Soccer Association. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Shewciw (nee Stio). Devoted father of Christine Waldron and her husband Keith, and Stephanie Shewciw. Loving grandfather of Austin Waldron. Dear brother of William Shewciw and his wife Jean. Dear brother-in-law of Angela McKenna and her husband Ed, and cherished uncle of Elizabeth. The family will gather with their relatives and friends for the Funeral Mass at Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Twp. of Washington, NJ on Friday at 9:45 AM. Entombment, Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge, NJ. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, 7-9PM and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Joe's name to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer Street, Hackensack, NJ.

Have fond memories of Joe back in the IHA softball days as one of the "3 Amigos" along with Bill Medea. I am truly sorry to hear of his passing, he was a good man. Condolences from the McGahn family.....Mike McGahn (Wood-Ridge, NJ) Father of Kellie, IHA '01
