Joseph Eugene Simms II ~ White Bluff, TN 

 With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, brother, husband, and friend Joseph Eugene Simms II.  He was born on September 21, 1975 in Clarksville, TN and passed away on May 12, 2024, in his hometown of Dickson, TN.  He brought immeasurable joy and light into our lives with his kind heart, radiant smile, and boundless laughter. Though his time with us was brief, the depth of love and happiness he shared will forever remain in our hearts. We would like to take this time to remember the protective father, his sister’s keeper, loving spouse, and knowledgeable generational lineman he was. While earth is mourning, heaven is rejoicing. 

He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lobdell Simms, his daughter Amber Simms, his son, Nathaniel Simms, and his sister Eva “Pinkie” Howland.  He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Eugene Simms, and his mother, Glenda Faye Simms. 

A service celebrating Joseph Simms precious life will be held on Saturday May 25th at 2 pm, visitation starts at noon, at Dickson Funeral Home, where friends and family are invited to remember a life that was truly a gift to us all.
