Mr. Joseph Andrew "Andy" Sitz

Joseph Andrew “Andy� Sitz, 78, of Paris, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at his home. Mr. Sitz, the son of George W. & Myrtle Shepherd Sitz, was born July 6, 1931, in Fannin County. On March 1, 1954, he married Betty McIntire building fifty-five years of memories. He worked twenty-five years as an auto and truck mechanic for Ideal Baking Company, then Skidmore Trucking, and at the time of his retirement he was with Dalworth Trucking. He loved being outside and was an avid outdoorsman. A Baptist by faith, he was baptized at Graham Street Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Betty, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law; Cloyce Sitz of Paris, Alice Webb & husband Buford of Royse City, Wylie McIntire & wife Norma of Paris, J. M McIntire & wife Sue of Rockwall, Albert McIntire & wife Patricia of Paris and Yvonne Sitz of Paris, numerous nieces & nephews including two nieces who he thought of as his own, Jeannie Ramsey & Amy Bailey along with a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eldon Sitz, Charles Sitz & Glen Hindman, two sisters, Joyce Smith and Linda Boehme and a brother-in-law, Richard McIntire & his wife Patty.
