Joseph Springs Obituary

LANCASTER, S.C. - Mr. Joseph Ralph "J.R." Springs of Lancaster, widower of Frances "Linda" Springs, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025.
He was born Nov. 2, 1940, in Lake City, S.C., a son of the late Fred Springs and Frances Leila Ganes. Mr. Springs enjoyed playing golf when he was able.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Mr. Joseph Springs was held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park.
Mr. Springs is survived by a son, Joey Springs (Karen) of Lancaster, S.C.; daughter, Teresa Dale Mitchum (Glenn) of Manning, S.C.; four grandchildren, Cathy, Matt, Ashley, Hane; six great-grandchildren, Dylan, Tanner, Georgia, Riley, Sadie, and Olivia.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Springs was preceded in death by son Gary Alan Springs; brothers, Aaron Springs, Therman Springs; sisters, Maggie Hinson, Mildren Powell, Jessie "Vera Mae" Carter, Carolyn Poston and Annette Mahaffey.
