Joe Terry was born in Savannah, Tennessee on February 7, 1970, the son of Mary Faye Murphy Terry and the late Jim Terry.
On May 17, 1991 he was united in marriage to Mary (Molly) Leigh Qualls, who survives.
Joe worked for 10 years as Plant Supervisor at Mustang Fabrication. He was a member of House of Mercy in Morris Chapel, Tennessee. Joe was full of life and loved his family, 3 grandchildren, and children. He loved his church family and work family and will be missed by all. In his spare time he loved to be at the beach and watching football, especially the Tennessee Vols.
Joe departed this life on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Morris Chapel, Tennessee at the age of 55 years, 10 months, and 11 days.
In addition to his wife of 34 years, Mary (Molly) Terry of Morris Chapel, Tennessee, he is survived by his children, Emily Snyder (Jake) of Morris Chapel, Tennessee and Chase Terry (Bailee) of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Parker Snyder, Carter Snyder, and Walker Terry; brothers, Paul Terry (Patricia), Robert Terry (Connie), and James Terry (Darlene); sisters, Patsy Terry, Vicky Usery (Tommy), Peggy Jarrett (Ernest), and Kathy White (Lon); sister-in-law, Stacy Hensley (Jeremy); brother-in-law, Matt Qualls (Brandi); mother, Mary Faye Terry; mother-in-law, Dianne Smith; and father-in-law, Mike Smith.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Jim Terry, Jr. and brother, Danny Joe Terry.
