Joseph Patrick Tylutki

Joseph P. Tylutki, 48 of Naperville, IL passed away January 25th, 2024. He was an amazing father and friend. His loss was completely unexpected and those that knew him are profoundly saddened. Joe was a successful attorney licensed in Illinois and Michigan, or as Homer Simpson would say "a law-talking guy."
Joe was born June 30, 1975, to Judith Adele (nee West) and Joseph John Tylutki of Lansing, Michigan. He was the oldest of five children: Jennifer, Kimberly, Michael, & Kaitlyn. Loving his family was instilled in him at a young age by his parents and grandparents, Thelma (nee Roberts) and Rolla West and Lottie (nee Buczck) and Joseph A. Tylutki.
He was a 1993 graduate of Naperville North High School, continued his studies at DePaul University, graduated Chicago-Kent College of Law, and received his MBA from the University of Michigan.
Loving father of Emily, former husband of Ericka, and son-in-law of MaryAnn and Ken Pollack. Joe knew being a father to Emily was the most important thing he would ever do, and together they enjoyed wonderful adventures traveling the world. He had a huge appreciation for dad jokes, which he would share with Emily whenever she was feeling down.
Joe's professional career began at Skyline Investments, where his appreciation for Gordon Gekko was fostered. He moved on to Anderson Consulting/Accenture and took his first legal role with the American Heart Association. Joe spent a decade working for the McDonald's Corporation supporting Ronald McDonald House Charites, worked at a biotech startup in Boston, the Pearson Group, Chamberlain, and most recently became Deputy General Counsel of WISH.
Joe's life was more than a list of accomplishments. He had a wry sense of humor coupled with a keen observation of human nature. Conversation with Joe was never dull; often enlightening and frequently full of hilarious laughter. He made amazing connections throughout the world and his life, or the "dash" between the dates of June 30th, 1975, and January 25th, 2024, was filled with happiness and adventure. He will be remembered in people's hearts as a father, spouse, coworker, and friend.
