Joseph Villone Obituary
Born on March 9, 1934, in Plattsburgh, NY, he was the son of the late Alfonse and Maria Villone.
Joseph proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He then went on to pursue his passion for education, which led him to a fulfilling career as a college professor at Fulton Montgomery Community College. He found joy in inspiring young minds and cherished every moment. He balanced his intellectual pursuits with his love of the outdoors and precious moments with his family.
A dedicated family man, Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Kline) Villone, whom he married on August 7, 1997; his daughter, Kristen Villone; son, John Villone, stepdaughter, Sheri Lawson; stepson, Chris Bruce; brother, Dominic Villone; granddaughter, Zoe Jed-Villone.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Church, 205 Glebe Street, Johnstown, NY.
Interment will be at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown in the spring.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Barter and Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher Street, Johnstown, NY.
