Friends will be received from noon to 6 p.m., the time of a funeral service, Saturday, June 4, in the Griffith Funeral Home, Inc., 5636 Brownsville Road (at 6th Street), South Park Township, 412-655-4600.

My heart reaches out to your family. I went to school with Joe and remember him fondly - always a smile for everyone. He will be missed.

Many great memories hunting with Joe. Always a good time but more importantly Joe made firearm safety for everyone his priority. One particularly good memory was our 2009 visit to Hornady in Nebraska for a Prairie Dog hunt.
