Joseph M. Waechter Jr., 75, beloved husband for over 46 years of Denise LeSeur-Waechter; loving brother of the late Margaret “Maggie” Cebuhar, the late William “Bill” Waechter, James A. “Jim” Waechter, Thomas “Tom” (Trishia Owens) Waechter, John (Barb Boylan) Waechter, Anne “Mimi” (Rich) Anderson, and Mark (Kat Werle) Waechter; beloved brother in law of Melissa (Brian) Welch; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews; and friend to many.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Kolbus – John V. May Funeral Home, 6857 W. Higgins Ave., Chicago, IL 60656. Chapel service to begin at 12 p.m. at the funeral home with entombment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery and Mausoleum.
