Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch
Joseph Anthony Wayne Bula, 39, of Coldwater, MS passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., also at Coleman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Autumn Woods Memorial Park. Harvey Medlin will officiate.
Joseph was born on January 28, 1986 in Memphis, TN, weighing 8 lbs. 4 oz. to Karen Wallace Bula and Joseph Anthony "Tony" Bula. He was an entrepreneur at a very young age, starting with a lemonade stand which he built at 5 years old. Joseph worked for his grandfather's screen printing shop, learning the trade, and then set up his own screen printing shop. He also ran two pallet companies and, once again, launched his own pallet business. Joseph could light up any room he entered. He was funny, smart, and inquisitive, with an awesome sense of humor. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and gardening and was always coming up with some invention to make farm life easier, such as a watering system for his chickens. Joseph never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need.
Left to cherish Joseph's memory is his mom and stepdad, Karen Wallace Medlin and Harvey Medlin, Jr.; his daddy and stepmom, Tony Bula and Judy Durham; his three sons, Anthony and Nathan Bula (Kayla Renee Simpson) and Grayson; sister, Abbeni Boughton; brother, Patrick Bula; grandmother, Fran Wallace; stepbrothers, Scott Durham and Wesley Medlin; nieces, Aubree Boughton and Addison Reid; nephew, Cameron Boughton; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Joseph was preceded in death by his Mimi, Peggy Downing; grandfather, Julio Bula; and granddaddy, Wayne Wallace.
In lieu of traditional flowers, donations may be made in his name to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital (www.lebonheur.org).
Online condolences can left on his tribute page at www.colemanfuneralhomeob.com.
