Joseph Wesolowski

Joseph "Joe" Wesolowski, age 73, passed away on November 4, 2025. Joe was raised in Chester before moving to Concord, PA during his childhood. He was a graduate of Garnet Valley High School class of 1970 and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Microbiology from Albright College. Joe was the co-owner of Sloppy Joe's in Chester, a place well-known and fondly remembered by many. In the early 1980s, he moved to Smyrna, DE, where he continued to enjoy a quiet, simple life rooted in his hobbies and interests. He was a lifelong collector and enthusiast of models of all kinds, including model cars, H.O. scale cars and trains, and intricate schooner ship models. He took great joy in the detail and craftsmanship behind each piece. Joe was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
He was the son of the late Michael and Olga (nee Nayda) Wesolowski and brother to the late Nicholas Wesolowski and Donna Wilkinson.
Survivors: His sons Brandon and Jordan Wesolowski; his brothers David (Tracey) and Michael (Sue) Wesolowski; his good friend and companion: Pam and his grandchildren Brooke and Shane Wesolowski.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014, and Thursday, November 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 2412 W. 3rd St., Chester, PA 19013.

Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA
